What do you need to do?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Add a title (product name)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Change the link. A URL will appear under the title, consisting of the domain, category, and name. If the title is in Cyrillic, as in our case, we recommend writing this part of the permanent link in Latin. Enter a text description of the product and upload additional images to the <strong>\u201cProduct description\u201d <\/strong>block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Add a <strong>short description<\/strong> in the last block. The main requirements for it are uniqueness and conciseness. You can describe the characteristics in more detail in the previous block with the description.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. You can upload the main image for the product in the panel on the right in the \u201c<strong>Product image<\/strong>\u201d block. The format is JPEG, maximum size is 300 MB. Additional images in the form of thumbnails are uploaded through the \u201c<strong>Product Gallery<\/strong>\u201d block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Fill in the data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Information included in \u201cProduct Data\u201d<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>General:<\/strong> regular price and, if you plan to offer a discount, the discounted price (the regular price will also be displayed, but automatically crossed out);<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Availability:<\/strong> unique ID for accounting (item number), available\/out of stock (set manually), possibility to reserve and sell no more than 1 unit;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Delivery:<\/strong> dimensions, delivery class (required for free delivery or delivery at an increased price);<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Related products:<\/strong> similar or recommended items at the order stage (the \u201cProduct Offer\u201d field), additional products advertised in the cart (the \u201cRelated Products\u201d field);<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Attributes:<\/strong> additional values (color, size) for each product. You can create attributes through the <strong>\u201cProducts\u201d<\/strong> \u21d2 <strong>\u2018Attributes\u2019<\/strong> \u21d2 <strong>\u201cAdd attribute\u201d<\/strong> button \u21d2 <strong>\u201cValue settings\u201d<\/strong> in the table on the right. Please note that each new review will have to be approved manually via \u201c<strong>Comments<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Finish by clicking \u201c<strong>Publish<\/strong>\u201d in the side menu on the right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to work with orders in WooCommerce?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As soon as a customer orders a product on your website, the request will be sent to the \u201c<strong>Orders<\/strong>\u201d block in the \u201c<strong>WooCommerce<\/strong>\u201d section. When you click on it, you will see all the details, including contact information, payment type, delivery, and status:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>&nbsp;\u201cAwaiting payment\u201d<\/strong>\u2014 order received, not paid;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u201cOn hold\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 the product is reserved in stock, but payment has not yet been received, confirmation is pending;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u201cFailed\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 the payment did not go through or was declined (unpaid), or requires authentication. Please note that this status may not be displayed immediately; instead, \u201cAwaiting confirmation\u201d is sometimes displayed;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u201cIn progress\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 payment received, inventory reduced; order awaiting fulfillment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u201cCompleted\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 order fulfilled and completed, no further action required;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u201cCancelled\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 cancelled by the administrator or customer: stock increased, no further action required;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u201cReturned\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 refunded by the administrator, no further action required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A nuance with changing the order status \u2013 this process is not automated, so after receiving payment, you will have to change the order status manually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will also see a block with notes on the right. You can make a \u201c<strong>Private note<\/strong>\u201d purely for yourself and a \u201c<strong>Note for the buyer<\/strong>\u201d (for example, the invoice number), which they will receive by email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What other useful blocks are there in the WooCommerce section?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Buyers<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>\u201cBuyers\u201d<\/strong> block of the <strong>\u201cWooCommerce\u201d<\/strong> section, you can see a table with customers. The \u201cquestion mark in a circle\u201d will indicate the default category. You can change it by moving the cursor over the desired category and clicking<strong> \u201cSet as default\u201d.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I create a label for products?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tags, like categories, are created to link products to each other. The main difference is that there is no hierarchy for tags.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, if you are planning to sell clothing and you have a lot of leather products, you can create a separate label for such products, and even add it to the menu or sidebar if necessary.&nbsp;The process of creating tags is no different from creating categories, but everything happens in the <strong>Tags section<\/strong>. Fill in the name \u21d2 part of the link \u21d2 description (optional) \u21d2<strong> \u201cAdd new tag\u201d<\/strong> button. At the very bottom, there will be a block with the reviews settings. By default, they are enabled, but you can disable them by unchecking the <strong>\u201cEnable product reviews\u201d<\/strong> box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also allow only those people who have already purchased a product from you to leave reviews, enable a rating in reviews, and determine whether it is mandatory.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I manage my inventory?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>General inventory settings can be configured in <strong>WooCommerce<\/strong> \u21d2 <strong>Settings<\/strong> \u21d2 <strong>Products<\/strong> tab \u21d2 <strong>Availability<\/strong> tab. To start the detailed settings, check the box next to <strong>\u201cEnable product-level inventory management\u201d<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/hostpro.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-10-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hostpro.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-10-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/hostpro.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-10-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/hostpro.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-10-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/hostpro.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-10.png 1427w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you plan to hold stock for unpaid orders for some time, specify this value in the <strong>\u201cStock Hold (min)\u201d<\/strong> field. The default value is 60 minutes. If you leave the field blank, this function will not be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>\u201cNotifications\u201d<\/strong> block, you can enable or disable notifications about low stocks and stock expiration. These notifications will be sent to the email you specify in the <strong>Notification recipients<\/strong> field. You can specify several recipients by separating them with a comma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below you can define the stock threshold at which these notifications will be sent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also hide out-of-stock items from the catalog and display the number of items in stock in 3 formats:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201c10 left\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cOnly 1 left\u201d for low stocks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cDon&#8217;t show the number of leftovers at all\u201d&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to set up delivery?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Delivery zones<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>First, let&#8217;s figure out the delivery zones. To do this, go to <strong>WooCommerce<\/strong> \u21d2 <strong>Settings<\/strong> \u21d2 <strong>Products<\/strong> tab \u21d2 <strong>Shipping<\/strong> tab \u21d2 <strong>Shipping<\/strong> Zones \u21d2 <strong>Add new<\/strong> or <strong>Edit<\/strong> existing by hovering over the zone.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What do you need to do at this stage?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Name the zone, for example, \u201cThe USA\u201d.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specify the regions, for example, if you have chosen United States as a zone, specify the regions.
